A night to remember at Mansion House, Cardiff!

We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us at Mansion House Cardiff last night! Your excitement, curiosity, and energy made it an unforgettable evening.

Our event kicked off with an energy workshop, the perfect way to get everyone’s sixth sense into sixth gear.

Shortly afterward, we ventured into the attic for our first watch and wait session. Right from the start, the energy was strong, and no one felt quite alone up there.

Though the attic felt warm, one guest experienced an intense chill that seemed to envelop them.

Then, as if affirming our suspicions that someone was with us, one of our walkie-talkies, placed deliberately on the floor to avoid accidental bumps, suddenly activated on its own.

A hushed female voice crackled through, distinctly saying, “Hello?”—an eerie greeting none of us were expecting.

We finished our watch and wait sessions before splitting into groups with a short mini concert at the grand piano to really warm the house up!

After a brief break, we split into smaller groups, with some heading to the basement while others explored a cosy upstairs living area.

Here, both groups experienced an astounding level of spiritual interaction, using ouija boards and the Alice Box to communicate with the mansion’s long-lingering spirits. At one point, an ornament inexplicably flew across the room, followed by a guest’s phone, which was lying on a chair, being flung away as if by unseen hands.

During our session, a spirit identifying as an old servant of the mansion made contact through a crystal pendulum.

The Alice Box revealed that one spirit, in particular, had a creative side, expressing a wish to draw. As we took up the writing planchette in response, guests saw shadows flitting in the hallway. Drawn to a dim light coming from a previously dark room, we found a small pencil lying in the middle of the floor, a subtle but fascinating token from our curious companion.

Meanwhile, in the basement, table-tipping and scrying sessions were filled with immense energy.

Our table-tipping experiment especially proved fascinating; the table moved with rapid, sharp jerks. At one point, the energy intensified to such a degree that the table began tilting from side to side entirely on its own, without anyone touching it!

Strangely, one of the tables seemed to respond only to a particular guest, engaging with them and them alone — a unique and memorable interaction that left everyone buzzing.

Our final group gathering led us back to the attic, where we conducted a tripe Estes session. Here, a spirit named Arthur Angle, a Cardiff violinist whose portrait still graces the house, came through. As the session continued, one guest mentioned hearing the faint strains of a violin.

Looking back, it’s clear that last night’s event was more than just another evening at Mansion House—it was a powerful, energy-charged experience. From every unexpected sound to every whispered word from beyond, the night was one we’ll never forget. None of this would have been possible without each of you bringing your openness and curiosity to the table.

A big thank you to Kieran and his team for capturing the entire night on film for a documentary—we can’t wait to see what they've produced!

Until next time, stay curious, stay connected, and as always… stay spooky! 👻
